Our Flock
Our MV accredited, pedigree Blue Texel flock was established using a carefully selected group of high-quality foundation ewes. Since then, we have grown the flock by retaining our best-performing ewe lambs, allowing us to build consistency year on year.
The flock is bred with a focus on conformation, consistency, and calm, manageable temperaments, making our sheep well suited to both pedigree breeding and commercial systems.
In 2023, we introduced Jaguar, a powerful and proven tup from the renowned Pendle flock. His lambs exceeded all expectations, showing excellent bone, shape, and breed character.
Success in the Show Ring
Though still new to the show scene, we made our debut at Ripley Show 2024 and were over the moon to win First Place in the Interbreed Tup Lamb class with Wayside Jethroe, one of our home-bred stars.
We look forward to showing more of our sheep and sharing their quality with fellow breeders and flocks.
Rams & Ewes For Sale
Each year, we offer a small selection of pedigree Blue Texel rams and ewe lambs for sale. Every sheep is bred here at Wayside and raised with care.
Our flock is MV-accredited, and all sheep are eligible for registration. We only retain the best for breeding and select animals for sale based on quality and potential.
